Hollywoodbets deposit methods

Hollywoodbets' voucher page asks you to pick a provider and enter a voucher number. Check your Hollywoodbets cashier for deposit limits, fees and any bank-transfer details before paying.

A deposit moves money into a Hollywoodbets account so you can bet with it. The sign-up credit is separate: Hollywoodbets does not require a deposit before you can use the R25, but any money you add yourself follows the cashier you are shown after you log in.

Voucher providers

Hollywoodbets’ voucher redemption page asks you to choose a provider and then enter a voucher number. The providers named on that page are HollyTopUp, EasyLoad, OTT, 1Voucher, Blu Voucher, R&A Cellular, Capitec Flexi Voucher and EasyPay.

Check the minimum amount, maximum amount and any fees in your Hollywoodbets cashier before you pay. Use the limits shown for the deposit method you select.

How a voucher deposit works

You buy a voucher from a retailer that sells that brand, or through a route that brand offers. You receive a PIN or voucher number. On the Hollywoodbets page you select the matching provider, enter the number, and submit. If the number is valid, the value is credited.

Treat the PIN like cash. Anyone who has the number can try to redeem it. Do not send it over an open chat, and do not give it to someone who offers to “load it for you” in exchange for a cut.

1Voucher and OTT are both on the provider list. OTT is a voucher brand. 1Voucher is another. Pick the provider that matches the voucher you bought. Entering an OTT number under 1Voucher, or the reverse, will not redeem it.

HollyTopUp appears on the same list as Hollywoodbets’ own named voucher option. Buy it, and any of the others, from a retailer you would trust with cash. Check with the voucher provider for participating retailers.

Bank transfer and instant EFT

Log in to your Hollywoodbets cashier to see which payment methods are available to you. Before using a bank transfer, instant EFT or card, check the instructions and limits for that method.

If your cashier shows a bank transfer, use the account number and the reference shown there, on that day. A reference copied from a forum or from an old screenshot can land in the wrong place. Keep the proof of payment until the credit appears.

Before the money leaves your account

A deposit is not a withdrawal run in reverse. Hollywoodbets’ sign-up terms say you can use the offer before FICA is submitted, and that FICA must be approved before the first withdrawal. If you deposit a large amount before the documents are accepted, you may have to wait before you can take winnings out. The document list is on the FICA page.

Also separate the deposit from the R25 credit. The credit expires 24 hours after activation if it is unused. A deposit does not extend that clock. The conditions are on the sign-up offer page.
