Guides
- 01Sports betting tips for South African puntersA stake you decided in advance, a market you can explain, and the account rules read before the bet. That is the useful part of a betting tip.
- 02Betting odds explainedA price is a return, not a prediction. Fractional and decimal odds are two ways of writing the same return, and Hollywoodbets uses a third label in its sign-up terms.
- 03Bet types explainedThe market name decides what has to happen. A single, a handicap and an accumulator can all be about the same match and still be three different bets.
- 04How to bet on the PSLThe Premier Soccer League runs the competitions people still search for as PSL betting. In 2026/27 the top division is the Betway Premiership, with 16 clubs.
- 05Rugby betting in South AfricaRugby scores in larger numbers than soccer, so the handicap and the points total do more work than a simple win bet. The competition still has to be the one you meant.
- 06Cricket betting in South AfricaA Test, an ODI and a T20 are different products. The draw exists in a Test and does not exist in a completed T20. The market has to say which match it is pricing.
- 07Horse racing betting in South AfricaA racing bet is win, place or each-way, judged on the official result and the place terms printed for that race. The Hollywoodbets Durban July is a race meeting, not a bonus.
- 08Hollywoodbets Lucky NumbersLucky Numbers is a fixed-odds bet on the outcome of a draw. It is not a ticket in the lottery, and the price on the coupon is the whole contract.
Hollywoodbets
- 01Hollywoodbets registrationThe public Hollywoodbets form starts with citizenship, personal details and an SMS one-time pin. You must be 18 or over, and only one account is allowed.
- 02Hollywoodbets sign-up offerHollywoodbets publishes an R25 sign-up credit and 50 spins for a new account. The clocks, the minimum price and the R1,200 cap are part of the offer, not the small print you can skip.
- 03The Hollywoodbets appHollywoodbets lists an app on the South African App Store. The account rules do not change because you registered on a phone.
- 04Hollywoodbets deposit methodsHollywoodbets' voucher page asks you to pick a provider and enter a voucher number. Minimums, fees and bank-transfer details are not published on that page, so they are not invented here.
- 05Hollywoodbets FICA verificationFICA is the Financial Intelligence Centre Act. Hollywoodbets requires an approved identity document before it will process your first withdrawal.
